The Division of Neonatal Perinatal Medicine at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. is seeking a full-time Neonatologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. The candidate should be Board Eligible/Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine with a strong commitment to excellence in patient care, teaching, and an area of interest inresearch. The MedStar Georgetown University Hospital NICU is a level 4 unit with high frequency ventilation, iNO, ECMO, therapeutic hypothermia, and a robust neonatal transport system with iNO, HFV, and therapeutic hypothermia during interfacility transport. The division has an active NPM fellowship and pediatric residency training programs and a diverse faculty with several interests including infant mortality reduction, global health, new modalities of assisted ventilation, neonatal hematology, neurology, infectious disease, quality improvement, human milk, nutrition, apnea and BPD. Clinical responsibilities will rotate between the MGUH NICU and our sister level 2 NICU.
